Our teacher certification program is a rigorous teacher training program which emphasizes hands-on instruction with students working side-by-side with Dorothee VandeWalle. Admission to our program is selective and only a small number of students are accepted into the apprenticeship at a time. Metropolitan Pilates in Seattle, Washington, is the primary Pilates certification school and training center for M.A.T. Pilates. Training centers in the United States offering our M.A.T. Teacher Certification Program are located in Oregon and California. All M.A.T. Pilates training centers are required to be fully equipped with state-of-the-art Pilates apparatus manufactured by Gratz Pilates, the original manufacturer and leading maker of Pilates equipment.
